USEFUL INFORMATION BEFORE ARRIVAL

Thanks to its location, each season at Montana Mountain Park comes with its own distinctive features. For many visitors, this is a good opportunity to make multiple visits a year and try different experiences.

No matter what season you visit the park, be sure to gear up accordingly. If you come in the summer, be sure to bring insect repellent which you will need to keep black flies away. And if you come in early spring or late autumn, bring warm clothes as the temperatures in the evening can be very cold.

Winter temperatures can range from -5 to -20 ° C. During the summer, they vary from 15 to 30 ° C. Depending on the area visited, you may be protected by trees.

SNOW PRECIPITATIONS

In the northernmost regions of the park, an average of around 1050 mm of snow falls per year. In the southernmost regions, the average is around 850 mm per year.

RAINY RAINFALLS

Be prepared for rain if you come during the summer, as it usually rains for several hours every two days. The wind can be strong too, so gear up before you arrive.
