Experiences

Discover the many adventures available at Montana Mountains park. You will find activities for all seasons of the year and for visitors of all ages and fitness.

WINTER ACTIVITIES

SCI

The altitude of the park allows us to provide visitors with many different slopes, for skiers of all levels. The ski season begins with the first heavy snowfall (usually around mid-November) and typically continues until mid-March.

CLIMBING

The climbing activity is relatively new to the park and incredibly popular. We offer several climbing walls and a 3 hour preparation course for new climbers. Climbing equipment can be hired at the park's main office.

HELISKI

Reach the most challenging mountains and hilly landscapes with our heliski package. You will be able to reach the most remote areas of the park and enjoy an extremely personalized and fun skiing adventure.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES

BICYCLE

In the park you will find hundreds of kilometers of paved and off-road riding trails. Be prepared for very strong winds if you ride on trails at higher altitudes and for any slippery conditions. Make sure you wear protective gear.

TREKKING

Bring walking sticks, sturdy shoes and lots of high-energy food, because after you start walking the park's trekking paths, you won't want to stop. All our trails are clearly marked according to the difficulty level.

CAMPING

There are over 180 campsites within the park and demand is very high, so book early. Keep in mind that the best-equipped campsites have basic amenities, such as running water and bathrooms, which you won't find in more isolated campsites.

WILDLIFE

You will find an incredible variety of wild animals that roam freely in the park. Have fun taking pictures, but make sure you keep the right distance. Also, respect the animals because the park is their home.

CANOE RIDES

Traveling by canoe is one of the most relaxing ways to enjoy the park. Navigate slowly, enjoying the scenery. At the park there are two shops where you can rent canoes and equipment.

HORSE RIDING

Horseback riding has been part of the park since its designation in 1900. Horses, mules and llamas can be found in the park's designated trails, contributing to its special atmosphere.
